Modified Duty Programs

Akeso designs modified duty programs as a proactive approach to returning injured employees to a safe and productive work environment after they have suffered a work-related injury or illness. They provides temporary alternatives for employees that are consistent with the medical restrictions prescribed by our physicians.

Custom Light & Modified Duty Programs

Returning an employee to modified duty benefits both the company and the injured worker. It has been proven that injured workers who return to work on modified duty tend to heal 30% faster than workers with similar injuries who are taken off work.

The company gains the experience and expertise of a valued worker. Even if the injured worker cannot perform some of their normal duties, the productivity gained by the part of their job that they can do benefits the bottom line.  Add in the fact that the indemnity benefit is reduced or eliminated altogether and the company wins again.
